FAQs

1) What’s the difference between your Basic, Detailed and Seasonal cleaning packages?

Our BASIC cleaning package is less in-depth and is ONLY available if the house is pretty close to “maintenance conditions”.  It is presumed there is no heavy buildup to tackle.  When we say “heavy buildup”  we mean a high level of soap scum, hard water deposits, dust and grime.  We would not have the time in the basic cleaning to clean the fans, trim, molding, light switches, doors, walls, vacuum blinds and carpet edges or hand wipe all the pictures on the walls.  To take care of  those special tasks our customers should select our DETAILED cleaning package.

For a more in-depth cleaning such as window washing, wall cleaning, refrigerator and oven cleaning, interior of kitchen cabinets and drawers we recommend our SEASONAL SPRING and FALL service packages.

2) How many maids will be sent to my home?

Our company specializes in team cleaning.  We usually send 2 to 3-person teams.

3) Is your staff insured and professional?

Yes, all our teams are covered by Workers’ Compensation insurance as well as Commercial Liability Insurance.

4) What can I do in order to get ready for your cleaning service?

Please don’t clean before we get there, but do “pick up” as much as possible so we can focus on the quality and details of the job.

5) What time are the ladies expected to arrive?

Grakei Maids can’t guarantee the time of arrival but, since we follow an hourly schedule, most homes fall easily into regularly-scheduled cleaning windows between 8:00 am to 10:00 a.m / 10:15 am to 12:15 pm / 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm and 2:45 pm to 4:45 pm.  If for any reason you prefer an exact time of arrival, please let us know and we will establish a routine that work best for you.

6) Do I need to be home when you clean?

The ideal cleaning situation is when no one is home. Since this not always is possible, please eliminate as many distractions as possible so our team can work uninterrupted.

7) Do you provide your own cleaning supplies and equipments?

Yes, we do.  We offer three lines of products:  Professional, Green and Aromatherapeutic.  Because each of these product lines has different strengths and cleaning results you will be recommended the ones that better meet your needs during your in-home estimate.

8) What’s your policy about missed areas? Do you offer REFUNDS?

 

DUE TO THE SUBJECTIVE NATURE OF CLEANING, WE UNFORTUNATELY CAN’T OFFER ANY REFUNDS. HOWEVER, IF ANYTHING WAS MISSED BY THE TEAM, PLEASE LET US KNOW WITHIN 48 HOURS AND WE’D BE HAPPY TO SEND THE TEAM BACK TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM. *** Please, make sure to select the correct cleaning package before your sign up for the service.This will determine the amount of work needed to satisfactorily complete the job. ***

9) What happens if my scheduled cleaning day falls on a Holiday?

We will call you 72 hours before the Holiday.  You will then have the chance to reschedule or skip your service.
